Produced by visionary Keith Lancaster, who wrote a portion of the material (the rest written by the group themselves), the four men of Acappella intrigue the ear with harmonies that can be reminiscent of Crosby, Stills and Nash, or classic three-part triad. The uptempo 'Ready To Go' is stirring and jubilant, while 'Begins' has a descending progression and timely modulation that is irresistibly catchy. The percolating bass, insistent refrain, and recitation vocal of the title track, 'All That I Need,' drives the message home. Sonically, the mix is richly articulated and defined, without an excess of gloss.
