In 2004, Indianapolis, IN played gracious host to the 2004 Sweet Adelines' convention, and some names familiar to us and our readers rose to the top of the heap. In 5th place was "Remix," 4th was "Salt," 3rd, "Spotlight," Second, "Razzcals", and in first, "The Buzz." We are treated to four songs by "The Buzz:" "No, No, Nora (Norman)," Irving Berlin's "How Deep is the Ocean," Hammerstein's "Because of You," and "You Turned the Tables on Me." The Razzcals have 3 cuts, Salt has 3, Spotlight 3, "Remix" 3, and "Unplugged" and the remainder of the 10 groups, 2 each. This is great stuff from an epic competition, the mother lode for lovers of Sweet Adelines! |
