Nico Muhly's Southwark Service is his sixth setting of the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis for Evensong. Subtitled 'Service in Fifths'this was written for Ian Keatley and the Choir of Southwark Cathedral, marking the retirement of The Very Revd Andrew Nunn, Dean of Southwark. The commission was made possible by generous donation of The Friends of Southwark Cathedral. First performed on Saturday 1st July 2023 by the Choir of Southwark Cathedral directed by Ian Keatley.
