The world-renowned LACC consists of 200 children from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds in four choirs who sing a repertoire varying from classical works to art songs, folk songs and spirituals, and new compositions commissioned by the Chorus. "Fifteen Years" includes live highlights from the 2000-01 Fifteenth Anniversary season. 18 songs, some accompanied," divided into four categories: "Songs of the World" includes Malcolm Dalglish's wonderful "Sail Away," Enrique Feliu's "Ciclo Carol Infanti" and the traditional Mexican "Las Amarillas;" "Songs for the Holidays," which includes the rousing "S'vivon," Jester Hairston's calypso carol "Mary's Little Boy Child" and Britten's "This Little Babe;" Songs of the Oldest Art," including Handl's "Art Thou Troubled?" (from Rodelinda) and Bach's "Ich Jauchze;" and "Songs of the Newest Skill," which include Paul Gibson's masterful "Alice Through A Looking Glass" Suite, "The Walrus and the Carpenter," "Beneath A Sunny Sky" and "The Jabberwocky."
