This recording is a combination of two earlier releases: "Domingo and the Vienna Boys Choir" and "Hermann Prey and the Vienna Boys Choir," now out of print. The variety of tenor and bass/ baritone voices, combined with the boys' voices is outstanding. All the singers are in top form and the songs are not all the usual trite fair, though there are some familiar titles. All in all, this is a wonderful Christmas experience and highly recommended. |
