Composed as a commemorative work exploring themes of loss, particularly remembering the children who perished in the Aberfan tragedy in 1966 which buried a school full of children. Written in two very distinct sections with the first dealing with the tragedy and the second moving from darkness to light, this is ultimately a celebration of childhood. |
