Typically set in triple meter, composer Robert Sieving has chosen to set his arrangement of this beloved Irish Carol in duple meter. This choice allows for added contrapuntal writing as well as more appropriate employment of agogic accents. This is a show-piece for any Christmas or Winter concert. |
