Brownsville, OR-based Contemporary Christian quartet AHG are four talented, dedicated young men, Konrad, bass, his brother David, baritone, Tom, lead, and Byran, tenor, who began singing together as "A Cappella Harmony Quartet" in 1995. They released the stellar CDs "Let Me Tell You 'Bout Heaven," "Upon This Truth" and "Hymns and Favorites" to acclaim; "Purpose" is AHQ's fourth release. We were particularly impressed by Byran's originals "Hit The Mark," "Strong," the title tune "Purpose" and his arrangement on "Stand In Awe Medley," Also excellent are Keith Lancaster's "Sweet Fellowship," Dottie Rambo's "When I Lift Up My Head" Ila Knight's "I'll Live Again," "Forgiven Says It All" and "And Can It Be," adapted for AHQ by David.
