Formed in 1980 this top-notch Danish girlchoir, directed for over 25 years by Jan Ole Mortensen, has won many awards, toured world-wide and performs frequently on Danish National Radio. The recordings here are all originals by living Danish composers such as Michael Bojesen, Knut Nystedt and Egil Hovland and are excellent proof of why contemporary Danish choral music is held in such high regard throughout Europe. |
