Night Prayer was written by Owain Park during Covid-19 isolation, and is designed to be performed by singers brought together from afar. The music is based on the ancient chant, Te lucis ante terminum (Before the ending of the day), with the melodies set against gently hummed textures and slow-moving harmonies. |
