Our first single shot music video! We’d been wanting to do a song from the country music genre for a while but wanted to find the right song. Paul (who lives in Nashville) suggested/insisted we do Humble & Kind and we’re glad he did because it’s quickly become one of our favorites. In a world where violence, abuse, negativity, and selfishness seem to be increasing, this song delivers a message/reminder that is sorely needed. Enjoy!

Our new video comes courtesy of one of our favourite British exports: Radiohead. The eerie beauty and complexity of their music makes it a challenge to arrange and a thrill to sing. This song appeared on Radiohead’s 2007 album In Rainbows — though you may also know it from the first Twilight film!
For our a cappella version of 15 Step we use live looping to build up a densely layered arrangement, taking inspiration from playground clapping songs, breakbeat and big band jazz along the way.

From researching its origins, learning the Moses Hogan version, having Débo Ray adapt it for Women of the World, to finally performing it on stage; this song has evolved into medicine music for us!
